Jack has been growing grapes and making wine in greater or lesser degree for the last twenty years or so. Retirement has allowed this fitting hobby for a Chemical Engineer to flourish and expand. Now self-sufficient in white wine from made from Seyval Blanc grapes he is experimenting with other varieties. In particular he is concentrating on testing the newer white hybrid varieties and starting the more difficult task (in the UK) of producing a satisfactory red wine.
