Prices

All quoted prices are in £ sterling.

VAT

Vines do not currently attract VAT. Vines for Wines is not registered for VAT and so does not issue VAT receipts.

Orders and Payment

Stock of all vines is limited so it is necessary to check availability before an order can be accepted. Vines are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Allocations will not be made until payment is received in full.

Failure to supply

If disaster strikes and it is impossible to fulfil an allocation, a full refund will be made of any overpayment. However, Vines for Wines cannot accept any liability for additional costs you may have incurred or consequential losses.

Delivery

Note that the delivery charges quoted are for each item ordered separately. If more than one item is requested or multiple special items, a fixed delivery charge will be quoted with each request. The delivery charge will be kept to a minimum and will depend mainly on the total estimated weight.

If the total order value for for a single delivery of vines exceeds the amount stated in the price schedule it will be delivered free by first class post. For next day delivery there will be an additional charge. With mixed orders, the extra for next day delivery will be quoted along with the confirmation.

Trellis materials are normally sent as a second class packet.
If vines and/or trellising materials are delivered at different times, this will be treated as two orders as regards delivery charge.

Insurance

If a delivery is lost in the post, compensation must be claimed from the Post Office. Proof of postage will be sent on request to assist in the claim.
Vines are normally delivered as a first class packet or optionally by next day delivery. If a first class packet is lost by the Post Office, the maximum compensation currently paid by the Post Office is £41. With next day delivery this rises to £500 and this optional service is recommended for orders that are valued at more than £41.
